Before matcha lattes, matcha was a tea prepared in the study of Chado (茶道 — the Way of Tea) in Japan: a spiritual and philosophical practice rooted in ritual, where the principles applied in the tea space extend to daily life. In this 60-minute session, HARUKAZ demonstrates the art of making matcha while sharing its history, philosophy, and the connection between ourselves, the tools, the tea, and the present moment.
